The ThriftyKing Hog fountains are made of foam filled insulated poly (not heated, but you can add an optional immersion heater). They are not as tough as the fully stainless hog fountains so the factory discourages their use with big ol’ mean sows. But you can be sure that normal use by swine won’t be any problem.
